i’m drowning without you
I am tired of reading poetry about people leaving. There was nothing poetic about you leaving me, nothing lyrical about the screams in between my sobs that seemed never ending. I can’t find the beauty in your abandonment, or the elegance people claim to see from the world without you. Maybe some find the silence between the two of you melodious; but I only found my new version of hell.
